About the role
agap2 Switzerland is looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to lead a profit centre within the Life Science and industrial sectors. You will own the full business cycle, from acquiring new clients to building and managing a high‑performing consulting team.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new clients in the Life Science and industrial markets.
- Define and sell engineering projects and services to industrial partners.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with key decision‑makers.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top engineering talent.
- Conduct interviews, manage the full recruitment lifecycle, and onboard new consultants.
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of engineering consultants, ensuring client and consultant satisfaction.
Required profile
- Native or bilingual French speaker with fluent English; conversational German is a plus.
- Engineering degree or MSc in Management, Economics or Business Administration.
- 0‑3 years of experience with a strong interest in sales, entrepreneurship and engineering.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex ideas.
