Business Manager – COO Switzerland, Europe & Americas

About the role

A leading private banking and wealth management organisation is looking for a Business Manager to support financial oversight, business performance and strategic initiatives across its COO organisation covering Switzerland, Europe and the Americas. The position is based in Zurich, on a 100% workload, starting as soon as possible and lasting until 30 April 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor operating income, OPEX and premises costs, and support the COO, sub-unit heads and local COOs with financial insights
• Lead budgeting and forecasting, and monitor internal and external FTEs and headcount records
• Analyse special topics and issues, coordinate strategic projects and the annual RCSA cycle, and contribute to cost, revenue and process optimisation
• Prepare management reports and presentations, coordinate meetings and act as a sparring partner for senior management
• Coordinate with COO, Risk Management, Finance, HR, Communications and the CEO Office

Required profile

• University degree or higher in Business Administration or an equivalent discipline
• Proven experience in financial services or financial services consulting
• Experience working closely with senior management and across functions
• Fluent English; German is an advantage

• Strong understanding of financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting and business performance monitoring
• Project management experience
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills, with strong presentation skills
