Business Manager

About the role

Engelhart is seeking a Business Manager to drive and coordinate daily operations and long‑term growth of its financial and physical commodities businesses across Europe. The role covers European gas and power, renewables, dry bulk freight and financial commodities trading, requiring cross‑functional leadership and problem‑solving.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface between trading desks and support functions, aligning initiatives and ensuring efficient delivery.
• Maintain and continuously improve processes, controls and governance frameworks.
• Identify inefficiencies in systems and processes and implement corrective improvements.
• Own coordination of business controls and approvals to achieve timely outcomes.
• Lead business planning, performance monitoring and cost analysis activities.
