Business & Technical Consultant – Transactional Functions

About the role

The Transactional Functions domain at Avaloq delivers tailored solutions for securities operations, payments, treasury, credits, and cost & fees. As a Business & Technical Consultant you will work with clients, product experts and delivery teams to analyse requirements, design solutions and configure the Avaloq Core Platform worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design innovative solutions for new developments together with technical leads and architects.
• Implement cutting‑edge business functionality, ensuring alignment with software layers and automated testing.
• Take full ownership of your modules, maintaining and optimizing functionality in collaboration with the team.
• Foster collaboration across departments to build strong partnerships and deliver successful outcomes.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and conceptual skills with proven track record.
• Excellent client orientation and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and structured, thriving in dynamic environments.

Required skills

• PL/SQL programming.
• Experience with Avaloq or similar banking systems.
• Relational databases: SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL.
• Agile development methodologies.
