C++ Software Engineer – AI Developer Tools

About the role

The NVIDIA PerfTech team is seeking a C++ Software Engineer to develop AI‑powered developer tools. You will work on Genie, NVIDIA’s AI knowledge and productivity service, bridging C++ tools with AI retrieval and agentic features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop production‑quality C++ components, APIs, and integrations for the AI‑powered developer‑tools ecosystem.
• Build capabilities that connect native C++ tools with Genie’s retrieval and agentic features, including benchmarks and performance improvements.
• Own features from investigation and design through implementation, testing, and delivery while collaborating with graphics, software, and hardware teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience with modern C++ programming, strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, debugging, and testing.
• Ability to work across C++ systems and Python‑based AI services and investigate unfamiliar problems.
