Calibration Technician

About the role

Jabil is seeking a Calibration Technician to manage the life cycle of measuring instruments and support production operations at its Raron site in Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the life cycle of measuring instruments according to internal procedures.
• Carry out calibrations and handle calibration non‑conformities.
• Read mechanical drawings related to instrument construction.
• Provide production support for control instruments and address downtimes caused by instrument malfunctions.
• Execute enquiries, place orders for new test instruments, and request quotes for purchases.

Required profile

• Technical high school diploma.
• At least 1 year of experience in a mechanical engineering environment.
• Knowledge of English and fluency in German.
• Previous experience in metrology is welcome.
• Ability to work within a multi‑skilled team.

Required skills

• Reading mechanical drawings.
• Calibration procedures for measuring instruments.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
