Chef de Rang – Seasonal Position at Crazy Pizza

About the role

Join the Italian‑style Crazy Pizza restaurant within the Kempinski resort in St. Moritz for the 2026/2027 winter season. As a Chef de Rang you will be the main point of contact for guests, ensuring a memorable fine‑dining experience in a 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present the à la carte menu and advise on food and beverage choices.
• Promote and sell fine wines and specialty dishes, providing detailed descriptions.
• Prepare certain dishes tableside and serve all courses with professionalism.
• Maintain daily mise en place, support back‑of‑house tasks and ensure restaurant cleanliness.
• Handle cash‑register duties using the Micros POS system.
• Uphold Kempinski’s internal standards for service, hygiene and quality.
• Collaborate with the service team to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Required profile

• Completed training in a comparable hotel environment and several years of experience in upscale gastronomy.
• Resilient, tidy and highly aware of quality standards.
• Structured, organised and able to work effectively in a team.
• Passionate about providing a perfect, friendly welcome to every guest.
• Willing to take responsibility for guests and colleagues and mentor junior staff.
• Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Micros point‑of‑sale system.
