Chief of Staff, GPS Oncology - Hematology

About the role

Roche’s Global Product Strategy (GPS) team is seeking a dynamic Chief of Staff to support the Therapeutic Area Head(s) of Oncology and the TA Leadership Team(s). The role involves strategic planning, execution, and operational excellence to drive the portfolio and priorities of the oncology therapeutic area.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with TA heads to define strategic priorities, review cycles, and operational plans.
• Lead implementation of strategic initiatives and prepare reports, presentations, and communication materials for senior leadership.
• Ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations, streamline processes, and facilitate effective decision‑making meetings.
• Lead cross‑functional projects, develop project plans, track progress, and manage risks.
• Act as a coach and catalyst for the TA leadership team, monitoring organizational health and driving change management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or a highly regulated industry.
• Proven experience leading large‑scale initiatives/projects in a matrix organization.
• Exceptional prioritization, teamwork, and collaboration skills, including senior‑leader interaction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; other languages a plus.
• Strong presentation creation ability to convey complex content clearly.
