CISO / Head of IT Security – Full‑time Hybrid

About the role

We are looking for a CISO / Head of IT Security to define and execute our information security strategy. The role combines technical leadership with strategic oversight to protect our medical‑device software solutions and ensure compliance with global data‑privacy regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a company‑wide information security roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Oversee the design, scalability, reliability and security of all IT infrastructure, including cloud environments.
• Lead compliance programmes for ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA and GDPR.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing and manage incident‑response processes.
• Supervise procurement and management of hardware and software for a distributed workforce.
• Promote a security‑aware culture through training, policy development and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in information security or IT leadership, preferably in healthcare or finance.
• University degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field; certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus.
• Proven ability to manage complex IT projects and data‑privacy initiatives.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
