Client Service Representative – Inbound Calls

About the role

BetterNight is seeking motivated, patient‑focused Client Service Representatives to join its remote call center supporting sleep‑medicine patients across the Pacific Standard Time zone. The role involves handling a high volume of inbound calls, providing triage, education, and coordination of appointments and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and manage a large volume of inbound calls, identifying patient urgency and routing requests appropriately.
• Provide basic information on services, devices, appointments, copays, and insurance coverage.
• Complete outbound callbacks, respond to patient record requests, and guide patients through web‑based software.
• Create orders, explain financial details, and ensure HIPAA‑compliant handling of patient charts.
• Assist with scheduling, device returns, and act as a liaison between patients and the healthcare team.

Required profile

• HS diploma or equivalent; 6 months to 2 years of customer service, administration or reception experience.
• Previous experience in a remote, high‑volume call center, preferably in DME or healthcare.
• Strong oral and written communication, problem‑solving, and ability to de‑escalate situations.
• Commitment to patient care, friendly and caring attitude.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
