Client Service Specialist – Geneva

About the role

The Private Banking Client Service Specialist (CSS) is the primary point of contact for all service‑related needs of Private Banking clients. Working closely with bankers, investors, product specialists, mid‑office and operations teams, the CSS ensures a seamless and integrated experience across the full range of Private Banking products. The role is regionally aligned to a specific banker and their client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, confidential service to Private Banking clients.
• Execute cash movements, monitor overdrafts and cash balances, and process foreign‑exchange, loan and deposit transactions.
• Manage corporate actions and perform account maintenance (openings, closings, address changes).
• Research, follow up and resolve client inquiries by coordinating with bankers, product specialists and operations.
• Identify potential fraud, errors or losses and ensure prompt resolution.
• Spot cross‑sell opportunities and escalate them to bankers and product partners.
• Verify and maintain data quality for client hierarchy and account alignment.
• Participate in special projects assigned by the Team Manager and coordinate client requests for products and services.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong relationship‑management, communication and time‑management abilities.
• Adaptability to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.
• Solid understanding of deposit, banking, brokerage, custody, investment‑management, mutual‑fund and credit products.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
• Business degree or equivalent financial qualifications.
• Previous experience in a similar role within financial services or banking.
