Cluster Director of Sales (f/m/d)

About the role

25hours Hotels is looking for a Cluster Director of Sales (f/m/d) for its hotels in Zurich. The role acts as brand ambassador for 25hours Hotels and Mama Shelter, leads the sales department and manages a team of two, while serving as the main contact for corporate clients and ACCOR Key Account Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and business partners, and act as the main contact for corporate clients and ACCOR Key Account Managers
• Acquire new clients, negotiate contracts and manage existing relationships across Corporate, MICE and Groups segments
• Prepare the sales budget and annual plan, implement sales initiatives and continuously monitor and analyse the market
• Represent the hotels at trade fairs, sales events and networking functions, and conduct hotel tours and familiarisation trips
• Organise and carry out domestic and international sales calls, and conceptualise and deliver client events
• Prepare proposals for prospective corporate clients and develop business strategies together with the Marketing Manager, Events Manager, Revenue Department and General Manager
• Act as contact for local sales partnerships, keep customer records up to date and manage rate loading in the relevant systems
• Set an example for hotel employees on uniform standards and conduct, and uphold the 25hours Essentials

Required profile

• Experience in a hotel of comparable size, including responsibility beyond the events department
• Fluent German and English; other languages are an advantage
• Ability to inspire people with the concept and to handle administrative work cleanly and reliably
• Openness to admit mistakes and a strong sense of character

Required skills

• Ideal familiarity with systems such as Cvent, Anais (or other CRM systems) and Opera
