Commercial Lawyer – Office of General Counsel

About the role

Deloitte Switzerland’s Office of the General Counsel is seeking a motivated and agile Commercial Lawyer to join its growing legal team in Zurich. You will work closely with fellow lawyers and business stakeholders, providing pragmatic legal solutions in a fast‑paced, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support negotiations for complex consulting and technology contracts, interacting directly with client legal teams and external counsel.
• Develop commercial and pragmatic solutions based on identified legal risks.
• Advise on a wide range of legal topics, including domestic and cross‑border projects.
• Provide legal support for contract reviews, labour law, regulatory matters, and litigation as needed.
• Collaborate within a diverse, inclusive team and contribute to a culture of recognition.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law and admission to the Swiss bar.
• Proven post‑bar experience negotiating complex commercial and technology contracts.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German; French or Italian is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, analytical and research abilities.
• Capacity to manage demanding workloads, meet tight deadlines, and prioritize multiple projects.
• Experience dealing with senior stakeholders and navigating a large, complex organization.
