Commis de Cuisine at Il Lago (Fixed‑term)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis de Cuisine to join the kitchen team at Il Lago, the Michelin‑starred restaurant of Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues in Geneva. The position is a fixed‑term contract running until 30 September 2026 and offers the chance to work in a luxury hospitality environment with stunning lake and Alpine views.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu components under the supervision of senior chefs.
• Ensure all ingredients are correctly portioned and ready for each service (mise en place).
• Plate dishes according to the restaurant’s standards and send them to the dining room.
• Follow the Four Seasons dress code and hygiene procedures.
• Rotate menus and adapt dishes to server and guest requests.
• Coordinate with the kitchen manager to order supplies for the next service day.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work station.

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑quality kitchen environment.
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow established culinary standards.
• Good communication with chefs and front‑of‑house staff.
• Commitment to cleanliness and food safety.
