Compliance Assistant

About the role

The Compliance Assistant supports Huawei’s compliance management and risk control activities. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to identify potential compliance risks, review contracts and sales projects, and contribute to a culture of ethical business conduct.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct compliance reviews of contractual terms and business arrangements, highlighting potential risks and providing professional comments.
• Assess sales projects for risks related to bribery, corruption, conflicts of interest, and other significant compliance issues.
• Support compliance inspections, risk assessments, and the identification of control weaknesses.
• Assist in developing training materials, case studies, and compliance drill programs, and help deliver training and awareness sessions.
• Help organize responses to external inquiries and support the handling of compliance incidents.
• Maintain compliance policies, procedures, and documentation, and track follow‑up actions from regular compliance meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in legal, compliance, internal control, audit, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of compliance risk management and risk assessment methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of anti‑bribery and corruption regulations.
• Familiarity with competition law, financial compliance, trade compliance, and third‑party compliance management.
