Compliance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance Officer to join our technology platform and cybersecurity distribution business in Rotkreuz, Switzerland. Working closely with the General Counsel and key business units, you will help safeguard our operations by ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and internal standards across all regions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a global compliance framework aligned with Swiss, EU, UK and APAC regulations covering distribution, cybersecurity, export controls and trade sanctions.
• Monitor and interpret applicable laws, translating them into clear policies and procedures.
• Support rollout and training of compliance programmes for employees and third‑party partners in EMEA, the Middle East and Australia/NZ.
• Conduct risk‑based compliance assessments of business processes, contracts and controls, and track remediation actions.
• Maintain the code of conduct, whistle‑blower channels and related awareness initiatives.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Sales, Procurement and Operations to ensure compliant trade, pricing and contractual practices.
• Serve as the primary contact for compliance inquiries, providing guidance and escalation paths.
• Maintain compliance documentation, registers and reporting for senior management and the Board.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance, Risk Management or a related field; legal training (LLB or equivalent) is a strong plus.
• 3–5+ years of experience in compliance or risk management, preferably in an international B2B environment.
• Solid understanding of Swiss, EU and UK regulatory frameworks; willingness to deepen knowledge of Middle East and Australian/NZ regulations.
• Experience with compliance risk assessments and awareness‑raising activities.
• Good understanding of commercial contracts and distribution models (value‑added resellers, MSPs, etc.) is an advantage.
• Structured, detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
• Strong written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability and strong ethical judgment.
