Consultant – Associate Business and Project Analyst

About the role

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) seeks a Consultant to act as an Associate Business and Project Analyst for its Arbitration and Mediation Center. Based in Geneva, the incumbent will support the design, development, implementation and maintenance of digital solutions that enable efficient alternative dispute resolution services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement and maintain case management databases, e‑filing systems, online user facilities, virtual hearing platforms and data‑analytics dashboards for WIPO’s ADR activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Solutions Design and Delivery Section to ensure systems are robust, secure, user‑friendly and aligned with operational requirements.
• Provide technical assistance to Intellectual Property and Copyright Offices in multiple jurisdictions, helping to develop rules, guidelines and customized online case administration tools.
• Deliver advisory and analytical outputs within defined timeframes, including an analytical report on selected digital tools within the first six months.

Required profile

• Strong technical and legal understanding of digital dispute‑resolution tools.
• Ability to produce clear, time‑bound analytical reports and advisory outputs.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the Geneva office for the full contract period.
