Consultant – Business Consulting (Insurance & Reinsurance)

About the role

EY’s Business Consulting team is looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its Financial Services Practice. You will work on transformation projects for leading insurance and reinsurance firms, helping them redesign operating models, improve processes and enable digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end transformation initiatives across insurance and reinsurance, focusing on operating model design, process improvement and digital enablement.
• Translate business requirements into system solutions in partnership with technology and build teams.
• Apply EY frameworks to ensure quality, compliance and innovation throughout project delivery.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to internal initiatives and support business development activities.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry.
• Understanding of insurance/reinsurance business models, core processes and regulatory environment.
• Experience in requirements engineering, stakeholder alignment, documentation and validation.
• Exposure to agile delivery environments.
• Strong analytical, communication and motivation to learn.
• University degree from a recognized institution.
• Fluency in English; German preferred, Swiss German or other languages a plus.
