Consultant Business Tax – Financial Services (Tax & Legal)

About the role

Join Deloitte's Financial Services Tax team in Zurich as a Consultant Business Tax. You will support tax advisory and compliance projects for Swiss and international banks, insurance, trust companies and asset managers, gaining client exposure from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Support tax advisory and compliance engagements for banks, insurers, trust companies and asset managers.
• Engage directly with clients and contribute to cross‑divisional projects.
• Participate in national and international corporate restructurings, transactions and tax‑planning initiatives for financial institutions and funds.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in business administration, economics, law or a related field, preferably with tax knowledge.
• Native German speaker with confident English communication; additional languages are a plus.
• Positive, pragmatic attitude, willingness to take responsibility and investigate complex questions.
• Interest in obtaining the Certified Swiss Tax Expert qualification or a Master/LL.M. in Swiss and International Taxation.
