About the role
This hands‑on content leadership position is based in Switzerland and operates fully remotely. You will own the content strategy, editorial planning, production, optimisation and publication for two digital brands, driving organic visibility and business impact.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the content strategy and editorial calendar across both websites, prioritising service pages, industry articles, case studies and landing pages.
- Recruit, manage and mentor writers and editors, assign briefs, set deadlines, review work and rewrite content when needed.
- Oversee the full content lifecycle from research and assignment through editing, design, SEO validation, approval, publication and ongoing optimisation.
- Maintain website content via the CMS, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, mobile‑friendliness, proper metadata, links, imagery and calls‑to‑action.
- Lead SEO strategy including keyword research, competitor analysis, content audits, on‑page optimisation, internal linking and performance monitoring.
- Coordinate technical SEO tasks with developers (crawling, indexing, redirects, Core Web Vitals, structured data, migrations).
Required profile
- Proven experience managing website content and delivering measurable organic search improvements.
- Excellent English writing, editing and proofreading skills with a natural American English style.
- Strong project‑management and stakeholder‑collaboration abilities.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, including personal writing, editing and publishing.
- Full‑time availability with consistent overlap with US Eastern Time.
