Content & Social Media Manager (80-100%)

About the role

In this role you will shape Zurich Instruments’ positioning and growth by defining the company’s voice in the fast‑evolving field of quantum computing and advanced test‑and‑measurement technology.

Key responsibilities

• Lead storytelling and editorial work, ensuring consistent brand voice and product messaging across all channels.
• Create and edit content for diverse formats such as newsletters, application notes, blog posts, video scripts, employer‑branding material and digital copy.
• Develop and execute the LinkedIn social‑media strategy.
• Collaborate with designers, website managers, performance marketers, scientists and senior stakeholders to deliver integrated communications.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in journalism, science communication or content roles with editorial ownership, preferably with a journalism background.
• Proven ability to make technical or scientific material engaging for both specialist and lay audiences.
• Strong independent work style: pitching stories, setting priorities and defending editorial decisions.
• Social‑native instincts, able to adapt long‑form stories into short clips or single posts.
• Enough physics literacy (or rapid learning ability) to converse confidently with quantum scientists.
• Native‑level English writing skills and comfort working in a precision‑focused, scientist‑heavy environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
