COO Business Manager – MENA Wealth Management

About the role

This senior position supports the strategic development and day‑to‑day management of a Swiss private bank’s Middle East franchise. Based in Dubai or Switzerland, the COO Business Manager works closely with regional leadership to drive performance, governance and growth initiatives across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with regional leadership to execute strategic priorities for the Middle East business.
• Lead business planning, budgeting, forecasting and headcount management.
• Monitor franchise performance through KPIs, management information and business analytics.
• Coordinate strategic projects, growth initiatives and regulatory change programmes.
• Support onboarding and integration of Relationship Managers and their teams.
• Act as liaison between Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Operations.
• Manage governance processes, committees and senior stakeholder reporting.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements across the regional franchise.

Required profile

• Experience in Business Management, COO Office, Chief of Staff or similar role within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
• Strong understanding of private banking business models, governance and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record supporting senior management with business planning, strategic initiatives and performance management.
• Experience managing budgets, financial reporting and business analytics.
• Project management and stakeholder coordination expertise.
• Knowledge of the Middle East wealth management market; Swiss private banking experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem‑solving abilities.
