Corporate Banking Analyst – Zurich

About the role

The Corporate Banking Analyst in Zurich supports Citi’s Institutional Banking team by managing a portfolio of large institutional clients. This entry‑level position delivers treasury, financial solutions, corporate finance, and advisory services while working closely with senior bankers to deepen client relationships and grow wallet share.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in client transactions, projects and assignments as a junior team member.
• Lead credit analytical work, including periodic financial reviews and preparation of credit and capital approval proposals.
• Develop client‑specific pitch materials and support execution of financing and transactional activities.
• Assist with cash management, trading, FX, loan activities, KYC maintenance and credit limit management.
• Organise and analyse sophisticated financial data for client proposals and strategic plans.
• Conduct economic and financial research, prepare written recommendations and statistical exhibits.
• Monitor market trends, ensure compliance with regulations and uphold Citi’s risk and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (Bachelor’s degree minimum) with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting treatments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated planning and organisational abilities.
