Customer Quality Engineer

About the role

The Customer Quality Engineer acts as the Voice of the Customer within Murten, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed promptly and that quality standards are met across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface for customer quality issues, managing complaints and escalations in collaboration with the Customer Quality teams in Serbia and Hungary.
• Lead the internal and external change‑management process, including change requests, impact assessments, approvals, implementation follow‑up and PPAP submissions.
• Prepare, submit and obtain approval for PPAP packages in line with customer‑specific requirements and project timelines.
• Represent Murten during customer audits, visits and quality reviews, ensuring clear communication and follow‑up.
• Coordinate with production, engineering and quality departments to close 8D reports and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer‑facing quality roles within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, customer‑specific requirements and automotive core tools.
• Proficiency in French and English; German is a strong advantage.
