Customer Service Representative

About the role

Staar Surgical Company is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative in Switzerland. The role centres on processing orders and handling customer questions and complaints professionally, while giving timely information on delivery times and stock levels within the agreed SLA.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strong customer relationships by handling questions and complaints quickly and professionally.
• Process customer orders and invoices and credit orders.
• Collaborate with product specialists to advise on suitable product alternatives.
• Manage backorders and returned goods (RMA and RGA) with internal departments so customers receive lenses on time.
• Provide accurate information on delivery times and stock, and issue Certificates of Origin and other export or other documentation.
• Ensure audit compliance by reviewing, filing and archiving documents, including export documents.
• Support the Customer Data Steward team by creating and maintaining customer and doctor accounts and controlling prices.
• Invoice marketing materials and cross-charge to internal cost centers when required.
• Train new hires on Customer Service processes, review daily work to improve it, and take part in Customer Service projects.
• Answer and forward incoming calls when asked by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Commercial or administration diploma or equivalent.
• Several years' experience in a similar position.
• Open-minded, flexible, communicative, stress-resistant and customer service oriented.
• Very good English, German and/or French is an advantage.
