Data Analysis and Results Management Intern

About the role

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is seeking an intern to support its Export Quality Management unit in developing and piloting an internal data management mechanism. The role offers exposure to trade‑related technical assistance projects and hands‑on experience in data‑driven planning and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing corporate, project and donor data requirements and identify key indicators for the EQM portfolio.
• Design and prototype dashboards or tools for collecting, consolidating, analysing and presenting portfolio data.
• Apply the mechanism to selected projects, test its practicality, gather feedback and refine the system.
• Analyse consolidated data to spot trends, gaps and lessons for planning and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a graduate programme or in the final year of a bachelor’s degree, or recent graduate (within one year).
• Field of study relevant to economics, statistics, data science, business analytics, international trade, development or related areas.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with data analysis, visualisation or dashboarding tools (e.g., business intelligence or statistical analysis software).
• Ability to structure, analyse and present data in clear, user‑friendly formats.
