Data Engineer - HR Data & Analytics

About the role

Sika is building a state‑of‑the‑art cloud‑based data analytics platform and needs a Data Engineer focused on HR data. Based in Zurich, you will work with the Central Data & Analytics Team to design, develop and maintain scalable data solutions that turn HR metrics into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the current HR data landscape, including SuccessFactors, SmartRecruiters, Rise Up and other enterprise systems.
• Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate HR data into the global data mesh.
• Create reusable data models and data products for workforce analytics, talent acquisition, learning, engagement and future AI use cases.
• Implement data quality, monitoring, security and governance standards to ensure trusted, compliant HR data.
• Continuously optimise pipelines for performance, reliability, scalability and cost efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Experience with HR transformation, People Analytics or HRIS data initiatives is a strong plus.
