Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Join BLP’s fast‑growing SaaS scale‑up to help enterprises automate core business processes. As a Forward Deployed Engineer you will work directly with customers, turning complex workflow problems into production‑ready solutions in days.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with end‑users, process owners and client engineers to uncover real workflow challenges.
• Design and deliver end‑to‑end technical solutions: architecture, data models, integrations, agents, workflow logic and front‑end components.
• Iterate quickly with frequent demos, incorporate feedback, and own observability and evaluation once live.
• Earn trust with client engineering and security teams, handling API access, data flows and deployment reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping production systems from zero to scale, especially in automating business processes.
• Comfortable engaging directly with customers, asking sharp questions and handling ambiguity.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong backend TypeScript development.
• Experience with APIs, authentication, message queues and legacy system integration.
• Hands‑on with modern AI tooling: LLM APIs, agent frameworks, prompt engineering, Claude Code, Cursor.
• Background automating ERP environments (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, NetSuite or similar) or consulting/solutions engineering.

What we offer

• Opportunity to ship solutions in days, not quarters, on cutting‑edge AI and automation technology.
• Full ownership of customer engagements from architecture to delivery.
• Work alongside a high‑performance team of senior engineers and consultants.
