Data Systems Engineer (80-100%)

About the role

Sensirion is looking for a Data Systems Engineer (80-100%) to support its manufacturing department by enabling data-driven decisions in operations. The role involves building and operating data pipelines that span multiple locations and continents, and training colleagues across departments in the use of data models and platforms. It sits at the interface of IT, software and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support and train colleagues across departments using the company's data models and platforms.
• Enable manufacturing processes across several locations and continents with data pipelines.
• Implement, optimise and operate data pipelines focused on manufacturing data.
• Work daily with stakeholders from shopfloor operators to upper management.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a similar engineering discipline.
• Experience in a production environment with ERP and MES systems and their data models; SAP is ideal.
• Good written and spoken English and German.
