Design Engineer – LATAM (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Design Engineer to join our LATAM team remotely. You will work at the intersection of design and engineering, using AI‑enhanced tools to create production‑ready frontend experiences for a leading real‑estate technology platform.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor into daily development workflows.
• Assist the team in embedding Figma, Figma Console, and Notion into AI‑assisted design processes.
• Lead by example as a hands‑on individual contributor, delivering high‑quality code.
• Build and maintain complex, component‑driven applications using TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS.
• Develop and evolve design systems in production, leveraging Base UI, Storybook, and optionally Figma Code Connect.
• Contribute to internal tools and workflow automation projects.
• Work with micro‑frontend architectures, Vite, and composition APIs where applicable.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience building production‑ready frontend code.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and modern CSS (Tailwind).
• Proven track record of creating and maintaining design systems.
• Familiarity with Base UI, Storybook, and Figma Code Connect.
• Experience with micro‑frontend architectures, Vite, and composition APIs is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to build internal tools or workflow automation solutions.
