DevOps Cloud Architect (f/m/d)

About the role

Hexagon's Geosystems division, which provides digital solutions that capture, measure and visualise the physical world, is looking for a DevOps Cloud Architect (f/m/d) in Heerbrugg. The role contributes to the design and governance of cloud architectures for scalable, reliable services, within an international, highly motivated and service-oriented cross-functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and governance of cloud architectures for scalable, reliable services.
• Architect and govern CI/CD pipelines aligned with cloud, compliance and platform standards.
• Establish Infrastructure as Code, container platforms and deployment standards.
• Develop scalable and resilient cloud-native or hybrid infrastructures with defined monitoring, compliance and risk controls.
• Work with state-of-the-art tools, including AI-enabled solutions such as Claude and Copilot.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong hands-on experience with containerised environments and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Confident, assertive and results-driven communicator with strong technical skills and excellent English.

Required skills

• CI/CD automation (preferably GitHub Actions) and Git workflows / branching strategies.
• Infrastructure as Code and platform automation (Terraform, CDK .NET, Packer).
• Monitoring, logging and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Elastic / Kibana.
• Software engineering fundamentals (C# / .NET, Clean Code, TDD, NuGet) and release/versioning concepts (e.g. Artifactory).
