DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and evolve modern cloud infrastructure that powers live, production gaming systems at scale. The role is fully remote within Europe and focuses on Google Cloud Platform, where you will ensure high‑availability, performance, and automation for real‑time gaming experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Manage workloads using Compute Engine and Cloud Run for scalable service delivery.
• Containerize applications and services with Docker.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or equivalent tools.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Improve system reliability, security, performance, and observability.
• Collaborate with developers to optimise deployment workflows and release velocity.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and monitor systems using modern observability practices.
• Support production systems to ensure stability, scalability, and resilience.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role supporting production systems.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to work independently in remote teams.
• Proactive, ownership‑driven mindset focused on delivering reliable solutions.
• Understanding of networking, system design, and cloud architecture principles.
• Awareness of security best practices in cloud environments (IAM, secrets, access control).

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – Compute Engine, Cloud Run.
• Docker containerisation.
• GitLab CI (or equivalent CI/CD tools).
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Prometheus and Grafana (or similar monitoring tools) – optional.
