DevOps Engineer

About the role

Namespace Labs is building a high‑performance developer infrastructure platform that dramatically speeds up CI/CD pipelines. As a DevOps Engineer you will own the compute, storage, and networking that powers every customer build, ensuring the platform remains fast, reliable, and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and scale the infrastructure that runs all customer CI, test, and build jobs.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, scaling, and recovery across the fleet.
• Implement observability, alerting, and incident‑response processes to pre‑empt issues.
• Drive capacity planning and cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with product engineers to ship new capabilities safely and quickly.

Required profile

• Strong engineering fundamentals with hands‑on experience operating production infrastructure at scale.
• Deep knowledge of Linux, networking, and storage systems.
• Experience with on‑call rotations and a rigorous performance‑measurement mindset.

Required skills

• Kubernetes
• Terraform (or similar IaC tools)
• Go or Python programming
• Observability tooling (metrics, tracing, logging)
• Experience with bare‑metal, virtualization (KVM, Firecracker) is a plus
