Digital Audit Senior Manager – SOX & Risk Assurance

About the role

PwC is hiring a Digital Audit Senior Manager for its Assurance line of service in Banking and Capital Markets, based in Zurich. You will lead systems, IT controls and business process audits for global SOX and US GAAP engagements across complex organisations, advise clients on internal control frameworks and help strengthen governance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead systems, IT controls and business process audits for global SOX and US GAAP engagements
• Advise clients on internal control frameworks, risk identification and control design effectiveness
• Assess and enhance Risk and Control Matrices, operational risk programmes and third-party risk management frameworks
• Work with client Business Process, IT, SOX and Reporting teams on regulatory compliance, SOC reports and control effectiveness
• Support system implementations and transformations by identifying control gaps and improving audit readiness
• Manage multiple stakeholder groups, including senior management, risk functions and business process owners
• Lead and coach engagement teams and contribute to business development for the Digital Audit practice

Required profile

• CPA qualification plus a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
• 8+ busy seasons of experience delivering external IT audit, SOX, US GAAP controls or risk assurance engagements, preferably in a Big 4 firm
• Proven experience managing controls-based audits for listed or multinational organisations, including IT general controls, automated controls and business process controls
• Experience advising clients on internal control frameworks and risk assessments in an external assurance or consulting capacity
• Ability to lead engagement teams, manage client relationships and coordinate stakeholders
• Fluency in English and excellent communication and presentation skills
• Additional certifications such as CISA, CRISC or CISM are advantageous

Required skills

• Strong understanding of SOX, US GAAP, PCAOB and external audit requirements
• Knowledge of IT general controls, automated controls and business process controls
• Travel up to 40% available; work visa sponsorship offered
