Digital Content Assistant (6‑month Consultant)

About the role

The United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR) seeks a Digital Content Assistant on a six‑month consultancy to ensure its web platforms remain accurate, accessible, and up‑to‑date. Working remotely, you will support key UNDRR digital assets, including PreventionWeb and the World Tsunami Awareness Day campaign.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update, review, and publish web content across UNDRR sites, adhering to editorial, metadata, and quality standards.
• Maintain priority pages on PreventionWeb by fixing outdated information, broken links, formatting issues, and missing metadata.
• Support the World Tsunami Awareness Day website and related content before, during, and after the event on 5 November.
• Maintain and improve web content for the tsunami scenario in the STOP DISASTERS game, including instructions and supporting resources.
• Document outstanding issues, workflows, and recommendations for follow‑up.

Required profile

• Experience in web content management or digital publishing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow editorial guidelines.
• Excellent written communication in English.
