Digital Hangar Communications Internship (6 months)

About the role

Join the Digital Hangar of the Lufthansa Group as a Communications Intern. You will help raise the visibility of the Digital Hangar by creating and distributing engaging content for both internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop professional content such as articles, posts, photos and videos for internal and external communication.
• Create innovative communication formats and support the production of multimedia assets.
• Set up and maintain reporting on communication performance and activity metrics.
• Conduct benchmarks, analyse performance data and user insights to improve outreach.
• Plan and implement internal and external events related to the Digital Hangar.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in digital communication and a passion for social media.
• Analytical thinking combined with creative storytelling abilities.
• Enrolled in or graduated from a programme in media science, digital marketing, communications, business administration or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
• Proactive, independent work style with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social‑media management tools.
• Image and text editing using InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or Canva.
• Strong reporting and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
