Engine Mechanic - Aircraft Engines

About the role

A global engine MRO service provider based in Zurich, with over 90 years of experience serving more than 300 customers worldwide, is looking for an Engine Mechanic to join its shop floor in Bad Zurzach and Zurich Airport. The role covers the Engine Line, Module Line and Piece Part Repair areas.

Key responsibilities

• Support the disassembly and assembly of aircraft engines or modules on an engine line (GTF, LEAP, PW4000, CFM56)
• Complete all assigned tasks technically and administratively in line with applicable manuals and regulations
• Deliver work on time and to high quality standards
• Apply Lean methodology and support continuous process improvement
• Work with a focus on quality, safety and environmental responsibility, acting independently, efficiently and with cost awareness

Required profile

• Vocational training completed, ideally as polymechanic, automotive mechanic or agricultural machinery mechanic, or from another highly mechanical/technical industry
• Experience in aviation or MRO is a strong advantage
• Independent, precise and responsible; good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and to work in a 2-shift system
• Good English (minimum B1); German speaking is an advantage
• Applicants must hold an EU passport, a Swiss passport or a Swiss working permit
