About the role
A global engine MRO service provider with over 90 years of experience is looking for a Welding Technician to join its shop floor in the Piece Part Repair department at Zurich Airport. The role involves welding complex engine components and supporting the repair process.
Key responsibilities
- Weld complex engine components, including pre- and post-processing, using different welding methods
- Straighten and mechanically rework parts
- Support the development of new welding processes
- Perform self-inspection and documentation
- Adhere to safety and quality requirements
- Maintain 5S discipline and contribute to continuous improvement
Required profile
- Completed metalworking apprenticeship
- Proven TIG welding experience
- Precise and responsible work style; team player with strong commitment
- Willingness to work two shifts
- Very good German (minimum B2) and English (minimum A2)
- Basic MS Office skills
