About the role
Lead a high‑performing team building backend services for Cisco Secure Workload, focusing on scalability, performance, reliability and security.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for telemetry collection, policy rendering, and low‑latency API services.
- Drive improvements in scale, performance, robustness, and security across distributed, customer‑facing systems.
Required profile
- 8+ years of software development experience in Go, C++, or Java.
- 3+ years of technical leadership in an agile engineering environment.
Required skills
- Go, C++, Java programming.
- Algorithms, systems, databases, performance engineering, security architecture.
- Kubernetes and cloud APIs (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Large‑scale event processing and schema/data modeling.
