English Teacher (Middle School)

About the role

Collège du Léman seeks an enthusiastic English teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction to Middle School Secondaire students. The position starts in mid‑August 2026 and may include homeroom advisor responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the school’s mission and RISE values by fostering an inclusive, caring learning environment.
• Engage and motivate students of all abilities, including those whose first language is not English.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment across the grade level.
• Assess student progress, record grades in the online grade book, and prepare timely school reports.
• Utilise existing resources and educational technology to deliver effective English lessons.
• Support students with diagnosed learning differences and perform any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification in English; a Master’s degree in pedagogy is preferred.
• Proven experience teaching middle‑school students in an international school setting.
• Ability to meet the needs of learners with diagnosed learning differences.
• Native‑level English proficiency and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities and a firm, empathetic approach to classroom management.
