Executive Housekeeping Manager

About the role

As Executive Housekeeping Manager you will be the driving force behind the impeccable appearance of a 5‑star superior hotel in the Swiss Alps. Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, you will lead an international team of about 24 employees and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 5‑star level quality in all guest rooms, public areas and staff accommodation, complying with Swiss Deluxe Hotels, Forbes and LQA standards.
• Lead, coach and schedule the housekeeping team, conduct training on equipment and cleaning procedures, and manage performance reviews and recruitment.
• Oversee inventory, purchase of linen and uniforms, and coordinate laundry operations with the sister hotel Kulm.
• Collaborate daily with Executive Management, Engineering, Floristry and Front Office to ensure smooth operations.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in hotel management or a professional qualification in Housekeeping Management.
• Several years of housekeeping management experience, preferably in a 5‑star hotel environment.
• Fluent in German or English; knowledge of Italian or Portuguese is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, business acumen, organisational skills and discretion.
