Fiduciary Accountant / Auditor

About the role

This position offers a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Fiduciary Accountant / Auditor to manage a varied portfolio of self‑employed professionals and SMEs in Sion, Valais. You will work autonomously on diverse assignments while contributing to client advisory services and supervising a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting, including year‑end closing, balance sheets and income statements.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, payroll, and social security declarations.
• Prepare and review personal and corporate tax returns.
• Conduct account reviews, financial analyses and audit documentation.
• Participate in statutory audits, business audits and transfer assignments.
• Supervise a small team and collaborate with senior auditors.
• Advise clients on accounting, taxation and financial matters.

Required profile

• Swiss Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Finance and Accounting or a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fiduciary services, auditing or Swiss tax administration.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss accounting and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in standard business and accounting software.
• Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and ability to work independently.
• Initiative, reliability and a strong client‑service mindset.
• Preferred: certified fiduciary expert, accountant or tax expert qualification and ASR approval.
