Senior Group Accountant

About the role

Partners Group is seeking a Senior Group Accountant to enhance its finance function in a fast‑paced, international environment. You will help elevate the finance system landscape, driving scalable, high‑quality consolidation and reporting processes across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Group Financial Reporting team in closing and consolidation, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for internal and external reporting.
• Prepare, review and analyse management reports and financial submissions, guaranteeing compliance with IFRS and other relevant standards.
• Assist the statutory accounting team with accounting matters, reporting inputs and technical finance topics.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for finance systems, focusing on automation, data quality and reporting excellence.
• Participate in cross‑functional finance projects and support technical IFRS accounting topics, including new standard implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certifications (CPA, Swiss CPA, etc.) are a plus.
• Approximately five years of relevant experience, preferably with CPA/audit training.
• Strong knowledge of consolidation, statutory accounting and IFRS financial reporting.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to communicate insights clearly.
• Fluency in English and a collaborative, detail‑oriented working style.

Required skills

• IFRS accounting standards.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting or similar consolidation tools.
