Financial Accountant – Full‑cycle bookkeeping in Neuchâtel

About the role

The Financial Accountant for OCG Switzerland will own the full‑cycle bookkeeping of the legal entity, ensuring compliance with both local Swiss accounting standards and US GAAP. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and the Global Financial Business Services team, supporting accurate month‑end close and group reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, bank, fixed‑asset, accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany and VAT accounting.
• Record GL entries such as prepaid expenses, cost allocations, accruals and provisions on schedule.
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting, including acquisition, depreciation and disposals.
• Reconcile sub‑ledger balances (AP, AR, FA) to the GL and perform other balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Execute timely month‑end close and submit actual figures to the group.
• Perform daily cash operations and cash‑liquidity management.
• Implement and monitor internal and external controls, including SOX compliance, and keep process documentation up to date.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for accounting matters and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local Swiss accounting standards and US GAAP.
• Proven experience in full‑cycle bookkeeping for a corporate entity.
• Ability to manage month‑end close, cash operations and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Familiarity with SOX and other regulatory control frameworks.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
