Financial Accountant – Shared Services (80‑100%)

About the role

Jet Aviation is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its Shared Services Accounting team in Basel. The role supports one or more entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with US GAAP while contributing to efficient accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile financial statements, VAT declarations and other general accounting entries.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing activities in accordance with US GAAP.
• Record, analyse and report financial data, guaranteeing the integrity of accounting records.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Process accounts payable transactions, including employee expense reports.
• Assist internal and external auditors and participate in ad‑hoc projects.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on accounting matters.

Required profile

• Commercial accounting education with 2‑5 years of experience in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP; familiarity with Dutch accounting is a plus.
• Fluent English; German or French language skills are advantageous.
• High personal accountability, results‑driven attitude and solid business acumen.
