Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Financial Controller to join an international, asset‑intensive organisation. The role sits at the intersection of operational finance, strategic decision‑making and capital investment, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial planning models.
• Analyse operational and financial performance, delivering insights to support business decisions.
• Monitor capital expenditure (CapEx) and investment performance through regular reporting and analysis.
• Review financial data, identify inconsistencies and ensure the integrity of management reporting.
• Develop business cases, valuation models, cash‑flow forecasts and profitability analyses for strategic projects.
• Produce high‑quality financial presentations and investment materials for senior management.
• Act as a trusted business partner, challenging assumptions and providing constructive financial input.
• Collaborate with Finance, Commercial and Operational teams on strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5+ years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, Valuation or a similar analytical finance role.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Commercial mindset with confidence to influence stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent English.
