Food Receiver / Storekeeper – Seasonal Role

About the role

As a member of the Purchasing team at a prestigious hotel, you will manage the receiving and storage of food and related supplies, ensuring that all deliveries meet quality standards and are properly recorded.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes, verifying quality and completeness.
• Store goods according to established procedures and maintain the organization of the receiving area, including garage, storage rooms, containers and packaging.
• Process and post delivery notes promptly and accurately.
• Issue store requisitions to internal departments and record internal stock transfers.
• Monitor inventory levels, place replenishment orders independently and ensure continuous availability of goods.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training as a Chef or Restaurant Professional.
• Previous administrative experience with a structured and organized approach.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional Italian or German is a plus.
• High commitment, resilience and ability to work independently and solution‑oriented.
• Professional appearance and courteous demeanor.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with an inventory management system (knowledge of Kost is advantageous).

• Fixed‑term seasonal contract from end of November 2026 to end of February 2027.
