Founders Associate

About the role

Adaptyv is scaling its automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments. The Founders Associate will own and build the operational backbone as the company expands, turning manual processes into scalable systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end operational workstreams across finance, customer onboarding, supplier relationships, and lab logistics.
• Use AI tools and automation (Claude Code, Python, no‑code platforms, Notion) to redesign messy workflows into reliable systems.
• Manage finance and administrative operations in close collaboration with accountants and service providers.
• Coordinate internal company activities such as events, customer visits, and day‑to‑day rhythm.

Required profile

• Proven track record of initiating and delivering projects or processes in a startup, side project, or academic setting.
• High agency, ownership, and comfort with ambiguous goals and no playbook.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to prioritize rapidly changing tasks.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex) to build workflows.
• Python programming.
• Experience with Notion and no‑code automation tools.
