Founding People & Talent Partner

About the role

Laelaps AI is looking for its first People & Talent Partner to lead hiring and HR functions as the company scales from a dozen to 25+ employees in Zurich. You will own the end‑to‑end recruitment process, employee experience, and HR operations, allowing founders to focus on product and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Run the full hiring workflow in Ashby: job posting, interview planning, scheduling, candidate communication, and offer paperwork.
• Source and engage candidates for technical and G&A roles together with hiring managers.
• Manage HR tasks including employment contracts, onboarding/off‑boarding programs, policy development, and maintaining employee records.
• Shape candidate and employee experience to reflect the company’s culture and values.
• Collaborate with founders on employer branding and external talent outreach.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in recruiting, people operations, or both within a startup or scale‑up environment.
• Proven track record hiring technical roles, especially engineers.
• Knowledge of Swiss employment practices and ability to handle international hiring permits.
• Organised, discreet, and comfortable being the first HR function in a fast‑growing company.
