Freelance Relocation Consultant – Greater Zurich & Zug

About the role

Anchor Relocation is looking for an experienced freelance Relocation Consultant to support expatriates moving to the Greater Zurich, Zug, Lucerne and Aargau regions. You will act as the main point of contact for transferees, helping them settle smoothly into Swiss life.

Key responsibilities

• Organise temporary accommodation and coordinate short‑term housing.
• Support home searches: create tailored profiles, arrange viewings and accompany clients.
• Validate tenancy contracts for accuracy, compliance and fairness.
• Translate and explain contractual terms to clients in German and English.
• Manage property handovers, inspections and move‑in/move‑out procedures.
• Maintain professionalism in fast‑paced, demanding situations.
• Prioritise multiple relocations simultaneously.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service throughout the relocation process.
• Coordinate with landlords, vendors and transferees to ensure smooth logistics.
• Resolve challenges quickly using sound judgement.
• Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in German and English.
• Comfortable using a computer and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a medium‑sized car.
• Flexibility to handle variable workload and short‑notice property viewings.
• Ability to ramp up quickly during demand spikes and stay productive during quieter periods.
